In 2025 and into 2026, it is one of the sharpest liquidity signals in the secondary market.

Blue remains the most transacted color across Patek Philippe and Audemars Piguet sport references. It is not the most exclusive, but it is consistently the fastest to move when you need to exit.

Black dials, particularly on Royal Oak references, have compressed slightly at volume but hold their floor with experienced collectors. They are a slower flip but a cleaner hold.

Green had its moment. Certain references still carry a premium, but the broad green wave has peaked. Reference and generation matter significantly now -- not all green dials are equal.

Salmon and champagne are the ones to watch. Low transaction volume today, growing collector interest, and a buyer profile that skews toward long-term holders rather than flippers.
